Marie Clayton grew up during the Beatles years and was at art college when the Four were still Fab. She has spent a great deal of time studying the history of pop culture and its most celebrated icons. She has written several books in this area, including The Beatles: Unseen Archives and Elvis:Unseen Archives. She is also the author of St Petersburg: Hidden Interiors, Thonet and The Grand Design.
Marie Clayton studied popular culture at Bournemouth University as part of an arts course, and went on to become a designer, journalist and author. She has spent a great deal of time studying the history of pop culture and its most celebrated icons. She has a particular interest in cultural icons of the twentieth century and has written several books, her most recent being The Beatles: Unseen Archives.
