Synopsis

When Nico discovers that his boyhood friend Pietro has made the sudden, shocking decision to become a monkey, he is led to question the basis on which he has lived his own life. In Fists, Pietro Grossi has written three epics of the everyday, in which his characters, bound together by fate, struggle to find a meaning in human existence.

About the Author

Pietro Grossi was born in Florence in 1978. He is a great admirer of Hemingway and JD Salinger, and has been writing since he was eight years old. Fists is his second novel, for which he won the Premio Cocito Monta d'Alba prize. He lives and works between Tuscany and Milan.
