Author Johnny Tipler was the only journalist invited to see and drive the Evora before it was
launched to the press and public. With unprecedented access and surprising candor, he is
able to describe in detail all of the development stages, through to the construction of the first
production examples, culminating in the car’s press debut in Scotland. His close involvement
with Lotus, and their obvious enthusiasm for the Evora project, is reflected by the openness
of all involved who tell him the full story behind this stunning new car.

About the Author
Johnny Tipler is a freelance motoring journalist, car historian and author. He has written over thirty-five books on a variety of automotive topics, ranging from racing cars and driver biographies to motorcycles and commercial vehicles. A regular contributor to 911 & Porsche World, Classic Porsche, Total 911 and Porsche Post magazines. Johnny writes on new car launches, important historic vehicles, specialist tuners, drivers and restorers, as well as covering international classic events like the Spa Six Hours, Goodwood Revival, Classic Le Mans, the Nurburgring Old Timer and Monte Carlo Historic Rally. Johnny raced a Porsche 914 GT/4 in La Carrera Panamericana in 2011 and has a close affinity with the event that launched Porsche's Carrera models.
