About the Author:

Chen Tamir is an independent curator and arts writer based in New York, Toronto, and Tel-Aviv. She has curated exhibitions at Gallery TPW and the Barnicke Gallery (Toronto) and the Ise Cultural Foundation and White Box (New York).Markus Thor Andresson is the Assistant Director of SAFN , a private collection in Reykjavik (Iceland). He has written extensively on contemporary art, his focus being on the scene in Reykjavik and Berlin, where he also lives.
