About the Author:

Patricia Nell Warren grew up on Montana's Grant-Kohrs Ranch at Deer Lodge (now a national historic site). She spent many years working in the New York media, and has lived and traveled extensively in Europe. She now resides in Los Angeles County, where she writes both best-selling fiction and provocative political commentary. Her earlier works, like the bestselling 1974 gay-themed novelS THE FRONT RUNNER and THE FANCY DANCER, came out from establishment publishers like William Morrow and Random House/Ballantine. Today Wildcat Press is her independent publishing company and imprint, co-founded in 1994 with L.A. media specialist Tyler St. Mark. Wildcat has published bestselling and awardwinning new works like the awardwinning nonfiction anthology THE LAVENDER LOCKER ROOM.In June 2011, Warren will be publishing her 9th book title -- namely MY WEST: Personal Writings on the American West, an anthology of her nonfiction short writings about the American West over 50 years.
