About the Author:
David F. Chang, MD, is an ophthalmologist with more than 25 years of experience whose private practice is limited exclusively to cataract surgery. He is a clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of California?San Francisco, where he teaches cataract surgery to ophthalmologists in training. He is an associate examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology, serves on a select national advisory panel for the board recertification examination in cataract surgery, and is co-chief medical editor for Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today. He lives in Los Altos, California. Howard Gimbel, MD, is a cataract surgeon who holds academic appointments at the University of Calgary and the University of California, San Francisco, and was named professor and chairperson of the department of ophthalmology at Loma Linda University. Heis the author of In Search of 20/20. He lives in Calgary, Alberta.
