About the Author:
Nigel McMullen has written and illustrated several picture books, published by Heinemann, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster and Penguin to name but a few. Amongst his titles are 'Go to Sleep!' by Hazar, 'Don't Worry, William' by Ladybird and 'Haunted Castle' by Templar. Nigel was born and brought up in the Lake District. He studied at Lancaster and Manchester before teaching Art, History of Art and Ceramics. He went on to work in animation and advertising before becoming a freelance author and illustrator. Nigel lives and works in The Lake District with his agent wife and their dogs.
Synopsis:
Jack thinks it's great to have Kenn as his little brother. When Mum asks who's eaten the cream cake it took her ages to make, Jack is quick to announce 'Not me!', while he hides the last slice in Kenny's nappy. When Mum wants to know who's made the mess in the bathroom, Jack declares 'Not me!', passing the water pistol over to Kenny. But although Kenny is not yet able to understand everything, he is old enough to realise that Jack needs a little lesson ...
