About the Author
Grace Mesopirr Sicard was born in Kilgoris village in the Narok district of Kenya. She has worked as a scriptwriter, storyteller and announcer for Voice of Kenya radio and television stations in Nairobi. More recently she translated the documentary film Kasanga from the Maasai language into French. Currently chairperson of the Kenyan Community and Students Association of France, she now lives in Paris.
