About the Author:
Michael Rosen is a best-selling poet, author and performer, and a recognized authority on children's literature. He is a regular broadcaster, and was the presenter of the influential BBC Radio children's book programme, Treasure Islands. He won the Smarties Prize for his picture book We're Going on a Bear Hunt (Walker) and his titles for Kingfisher include The Kingfisher Book of Children's Poetry, Poems for the Very Young and Walking the Bridge of Your Nose. Michael Rosen lives in East London. Inga Moore is a popular illustrator of children's books. She won the coveted Smarties Prize for her picture book, Six Dinner Sid and received wide praise for her interpretation of The Wind in the Williows. Inga Moore lives near Stroud in Gloucestershire.
