Like most parents I spend too much cooking and cleaning and doing the washing and making sure everything is nice for my children and then I realise my children don't care that much about a perfect environment but they really do care about their mum and dads reading stories and spending doing things with them. I am that hippo! And if a big fat hippo can change their ways so can anyone!
About the Author:
Jonathan Shipton has got five children and lives in South Wales. He is the author of ten children's books including Emily's Perfect Pet and Lucky Duck and has contributed to several poetry anthologies.
