With its 1,568 pages, dealing with no less than 19 legal instruments, the book reviewed proves to be a real encyclopaedia on EU migration law, whose primary aim according to the preface is describing the content of existing European legislation, identifying potential interpretation issues, and providing arguments, for applying such rules. The importance and practical use of this volume lies not only in the inclusion and description of the most relevant instruments of migration and asylum law, but especially in its extended commentaries.
