About the Author:
Brenda Kemeys was born and educated in Gloucester. Her interest in Tudor/Elizabethan ladies developed through reading historical novels. A lot of her time, since retiring from a local Higher Education establishment, has been spent roaming the country tracking down old houses associated with 'strong' ladies of the period.
