VIVIENNE FRANZMANN was teaching drama in a Londoncomprehensive when she became the joint winner of the prestigious Bruntwood Playwriting Award in 2008 with her first play, Mogadishu. Her second play, Witness, will premiere at theRoyal Court Theatre, London in May 2012 and will be published by Nick Hern Books. She lives in East London.
