About the Author:

Jemima Lumley is an author and designer. She has previously worked as a designer at Frances Lincoln and Orchard Books, and now lives in Bristol, England with her husband and two children. The Journey Home from Grandpa's is her first title for Barefoot Books. Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress whose bright and distinctive illustrations have brought her numerous commissions and international critical acclaim. 'I take much inspiration from animals that I love, and I want to give homage to their very strong dignity through my work. I'd like my work to be a peaceful message of solidarity and support, that could help children remember to love and respect each other.'
