Launched in 1936 in the "Sunday Post" in Scotland, "Oor Wullie" is still one of the most popular children's comics and annuals in Scotland with a readerrship covering all generations. The "Oor Wullie" annual sells over 100,000 copies each year. This is a slip-cased facsimile of the first ever "Oor Wullie" annual published in 1940 after the comic had launched in 1936.
