Feb 06 Landscapes always need to be accurate in their composition and tones but how do you achieve such striking pictures with acrylics? I always encounter numerous problems as I find the paint dries too quickly for me to be able to do anything with it. However, this book covers in detail all the problems I have encountered and more importantly how to solve them. David Hyde covers all the questions you would like to ask in this wonderful book. After you have read all the useful advice on the right equipment, techniques, composition and so on you can have a go at the awe-inspiring projects. 'Distant mountains' is the project I am trying at the moment and I am enjoying every minute of it. I never imagined I could paint paintings like this.
