About the Author:
Mark Ellingham wrote the first ever Rough Guide - to Greece - in 1982. Twenty-two years on, he is still the Publisher and continues to travel to Spain as often as possible, particuarly to Las Alpujarras in Andalucia. John Fisher also worked on the first Rough Guide and has been inextricably linked with the series ever since. When not travelling, he lives in south London with his wife and two sons.
