About the Author:
Wendy Moore has travelled extensively throughout Asia and central and South America. She was based in Malaysia from 1986 to 1993 and continues to be a frequent visitor. A freelance writer and editor, she has written several books about the country, including To Know Malaysia, and for an outstanding magazine article on Tioman Island she was awarded the Malaysian Tourism Gold Award for Best Travel Writer. Gerald Cubitt's travels have taken him to all corners of the globe and his images of Indonesia have received international acclaim. His other publications include The National Parks of Malaysia, Wild Malaysia, This is Indonesia and The National Parks of Indonesia (all New Holland). He lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
