About the Author:

Rina Singh was born in India, and came to Canada in 1980. She has a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Concordia University, and a teaching degree from McGill University. Before moving to Toronto from Montreal, where she lived for ten years, she taught creative writing to gifted children. A poet and artist, Rina has written several critically acclaimed books for children. She has given poetry readings in Toronto, and has exhibited her photography and artwork both in Montreal and Toronto. She teaches creative writing, art, and drama to children. Since then, she has exhibited in both England and throughout Europe. Helen divides her time between Germany and the UK.
