Worzel reaches across the canine-human divide to communicate with all humans about being a three-year-old adolescent/adult lurcher. --Geelong Obedience Dog Club

Catherine Pickles is a full-time family carer, writer and blogger. It is interesting to note that her blog about Worzel reached the final of the UK Blog Awards in 2015. Catherine has fostered numerous sighthounds for Hounds First Sighthound rescue. With "Three Quite Very Actual Cheers for Worzel Wooface!" she once again reveals a genuine fair for engaging narration and original storytelling. An inherently fascinating and extraordinarily entertaining read from cover to cover, "Three Quite Very Actual Cheers for Worzel Wooface!" is recommended. --Midwest Book Review
About the Author:
Catherine Pickles is an author, journalist and blogger who lives in Suffolk with her husband and nearly grown-up children. As a child, her home was filled with dogs, cats and every stray, broken or rescued animal in the village. She is an experienced foster-carer of lurchers and other sighthounds. Worzel was initially a foster dog, but from the second he skidded through the door, Catherine knew that he would be her first "failed foster." Worzel Wooface was adopted from Hounds First Sighthound Rescue. His mission in life is to eat every shoe his Dad owns. Tolerant of the five cats who live with him, his favourite is Gandhi who he considers to be an honorary lurcher. As well as writing books, Worzel blogs and writes a regular column for his local newspaper. He is a champion for rescue dogs and considers himself a Rescue Ambassador, promoting the joys and challenges of second-hand dogs. He can usually be found upside down on any bed other than his own, often with one of his Dad's shoes that he's looking after. And licking. In 2016, Worzel won a Heroes of Dog Fest award.
