I read this book slowly as a part of my devotional reading. As few books have done to me, I found my heart burning with things God was teaching me as I read. Often I had to stop to pray. There are challenges to leaders about commitment to Christ, to people, to personal discipline, and to several other things that make people good leaders. As a young person I learned many lessons about the lifestyle of a leader through the life and writings of John Stott.
