Mike Woodhams was born in London and emigrated to New Zealand with his family in the 1970s where he currently works as an architect in his own practice. He has travelled extensively to all corners of the world, including China, Australia, the Pacific Islands and India, meeting many interesting and colourful characters who have influenced his writing.
