The historically defining strategies employed during these battles are explored throughout. Originally published as part of the Cassell's Series British Battles on Land and Sea, this book includes the original engravings, and together with Mr. Grant's period text produce an absorbing account of the period through Victorian eyes.

About the Author
Bob Carruthers is an Emmy Award winning author and historian, who has written extensively on the Great War. A graduate of Edinburgh University, Bob is the author of a number of military history titles including the Amazon best seller The Wehrmacht in Russia.
