About the Author

Vadis Primus Parson is a teacher, writer and entrepreneur. She is a Graduate, Cum Laude, of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education, minoring in Psychology. She has taught middle and elementary school for the past 24 years. During the time, she has taught a variety of subjects such as Science, Geography, Reading, Language Arts and Physical Education. She has also coached several sports including soccer, track, volleyball and basketball, winning several volleyball and basketball championships along the way. She also created her own non-profit Girls AAU Basketball organization, which she coached for several years. Vadis loves being creative and is not afraid to take on a challenge even becoming the Business Manager for a Professional Comedian and learning the Comedy business. She loves to write in her spare time and has been writing poems and stories since she was in high school. She believes that you should never limit your possibilities or give up o your dreams because you never know what opportunities will present themselves as life goes along. You should be prepared to face any challenges that arise, embrace those experiences and grow from them. This is her first attempt at children's non-fiction and she is excited to bring you, "I'm Nuts For Donuts!
