One of the greatest writers in SF history, Philip K. Dick is mostly remembered for movies based on his works such as Blade Runner, Minority Report, and Total Recall. His dark fascinating work centered on alternate universes and shifting realities in worlds often governed by monopolistic corporations and authoritarian governments. His own life story seems a tussle with reality, going through five wives and becoming increasingly disjointed with fits of paranoia and hallucinations fueled by abuse of drugs meant to stabilize him. His dramatic story is presented unvarnished in this comics biography.

Starred review! "This graphic novel serves as both an intriguing introduction to the man and a unique visual window into his world." --Peter Dabbene, Foreword
"An unexpected treat. Anyone with a fondness for Dick's work would enjoy checking it out. It's an all-new way to look at the man. Even if you--like me--aren't necessarily gung-ho about digging into your heroes, this one will likely prove rewarding." --Allen Adams, The Main Edge
"A moving overview. Impressively propulsive, skipping smoothly across the years." --Tom Batten, Library Journal
"Through deeply personal anecdotes and skilled artistic storytelling, this comic reveals the side of Dick's life that is as turbulent and ungrounded as the fictional worlds he is famed for creating." - Publishers Weekly
