Synopsis
Rodney Jessup, a pious presidential candidate, hires detective Cody Harper to find out who is threatening him and his family. When Cody arrives at Jessup's palatial estate in Virginia, he meets Tony Vargas, Jessup's bodyguard, and the two realize an immediate connection. As Cody and Tony's attraction heats up, the killer circles closer to Jessup. With the help of Desdemona, Cody's gorgeous cross-dressing persona, Cody intends to close this case quickly and throw the perpetrator in prison. But can things really be that easy? Or is there much more to this case than meets the beautifully mascaraed eye?

About the Author
Michael Meeske, writing here as Vincent Wilde, writes across all genres. His writing credits include the books Frankenstein's Daemon and Poe's Mother as well as several short stories. Michael has been a member of Florida Romance Writers (FRW) and the Romance Writers of America since 2002, and he served as the vice president of FRW for many years. He has also been an active member of the Writers' Room of Boston, a nonprofit working space for novelists, poets, and playwrights.
