Brian Angus has watched as his mother would labor tirelessly for days, weeks, or even months working with rhythm, rhyme, and the exact words that capture her thoughts and emotions. Bethel Arthur Angus is an international award-winning poet, has been published in over a dozen books and journals, and is a member of the National Poetry Society. She has co-written several songs, and some of her poems were read by David Ross and aired on NBC. Her family was the first permanent settlers in Fork Lick, West Virginia, and was responsible for the formation of her home county of Webster. Several of her ancestors fought in many of our nation's battles, including the American Revolution. She is ""A True Appalachian Poet and A Daughter of the American Revolution."" In 1964 she was sent home from the hospital to die with ovarian cancer, but God healed her in a dream and because of that miraculous event we still have her and this book of her poetry to share with you.
