Since his wildly successful beginnings as a hip clothing designer, Archie is taking some much needed some time off. As he prepares for his vacation at the beach, he packs the usual things. But at night he dreams of rain, of snorkeling, and of other fun adventures, convincing him that he'll need to pack everything--just in case! But will his suitcase fit it all? Or is it bursting at the seams? Archie may just have a clever solution up his sleeve . . .

Critics love the highly original, nearly-wordless Archie, and this follow-up is the perfect companion for dog-lovers, style hounds, and faithful friends of all ages.

Review:
"Dog lovers, travelers and fans of Gordon's felted animals will find this amusing. Bon voyage!" --"Kirkus Reviews""" "Images composed of soft, warmly sketchy figures combine with the gentle comedy to create an instantly endearing character." --"Booklist""" "Sure to make young readers laugh."""--"Library Media Connection""" ""Archie," with its spare, creamy pages and eye-catching, hand-lettered cover, was clearly designed for reading pleasure and also for display. Gordon's fine watercolors capture the various dogs' personalities and styles with aplomb, and an unmistakable eye for cut and pattern." --"The New York Times "on "Archie" "The mostly wordless pages of Domenica More Gordon's "Archie" have a careless, watercolor chic that brings to mind the wonderful lightness of fashion sketches. It's an amusing approach for a picture book. . . . Small children aren't the only ones who will get a kick out of the humorous conceit of this elegant debut." --"The Wall Street Journal "on "Archie" "The clothes make the dog in this nearly wordless, tongue-in-cheek homage to fashion and the power of creativity. . . . A tail-wagging delight for budding Coco Chanels everywhere." --"Kirkus Reviews," starred review, on "Archie" "[Gordon's] visual storytelling is already marvelously accomplished. . . . A winning premise; it's a distinctively British pairing, somewhere between Jeeves and Wooster and Wallace and Gromit." --"Publishers Weekly," starred review, on "Archie"
