John Shumaker has been a Bible teacher since 1985. John started and served as a Fire Chaplain for the Colorado Springs Fire Department for over 25 years. John also was a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God. In addition to The Mystery of the Alpha and Omega, John has also written another book that deals with spiritual warfare titled The Strategy of Spiritual Warfare Exposed: What Goes On Behind The Scenes - And Why. John and his wife, Carol, live in Colorado Springs. Between them they have five children, James, Sheila, Becky, Jenny and Debie. The also have ten grandchildren, Crystal, Chelsea, Zachary, Ashleigh, Alecia, Ezekiel, Jonathan, TJ, Jacob and AJ, and five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Nathan, Olivia, Alan and Alena.
