This compilation of '3,241 quips, quotes and brilliant remarks' from women throughout history confirms once and for all which is the stronger sex...Denver Post, March, 2011...I thought on account of March being National Women s History Month, I might share a few of the more than 3,200 celebrity women s quotes compiled in a new book that came across my desk called 'Women Know Everything!' by Karen Weekes. The quotes are organized by subject, from Ability to Youth with a lot of serious and silly stuff in between. Although a lot of the book is dedicated to deep, contemplative advice from scholars, politicians and renowned writers, I headed straight for the jokesters, because I have no class.These quotes spoke to me personally, and I thought this would be an easy column. You know, steal other people s material? But it turned out to be hard to choose these quotes. Erma Bombeck needs her own section. As do several other ladies whose wise words contribute to 'Women Know Everything!'But we ll start with a country singer because I saw this quote first. Enjoy.Little-known fact about Dolly Parton: She s a true sage, and she should have gone into stand-up comedy.
