About the Author:

Laurel Christensen was born in California, grew up in Kentucky, and graduated from high school in Missouri. SHe holds a bachelor's degree from BYU and served a mission in Riverside, California. As director of entertainment for Deseret Book Company, Laurel helped launch such groups as Jericho Road. She is now director of Time Out for Women Programs and Events. A resident of Salt Lake City, Laurel has served several times as a Laurel advisor and says one of her favorite things to do is speak at girls camp.
