"What a wonderful book! Children will sing along happily with the reader to the well-known When Johnny Comes Marching Home melody put to lively original verse and cheerful chorus."
-James R. Barrett, library media specialist
Ten ghouls of every shape, size, and color crawl out of the hills and into town in this rhythmic counting book. Charmingly spooky illustrations scare up the fun as the creepy creatures sneak along, one by one, until a surprise ending. The clever singsong verse offers a playful approach to counting and language skills while empowering little ones to overcome their fears and banish the "monsters" who sneak into their rooms.
