Steven Payne was born in California, in a city called Simi Valley. From there he had a fairly uneventful life until he turned seventeen and was moved, by his parents, to Colorado. Finishing high school in culture shock, Steven moved to Colorado Springs where he started taking courses at UCCS. There he learned how to program computers in order to become a game designer. After getting married and having a child it occurred to Steven that the thing he loved most about the games he played was their stories. And with all the stories that have been creeping around his skull, he decided it was high time to let them shine.
