About the Author:

In her fifty-four years of life, author Anne Marie Grissom has been blessed with four children, two grandsons, a wonderful set of parents, and great in-laws. Her hero was her mother. Through her, she learned to never give up or surrender.

Grissom and her sisters helped care for their mother until the end of her life. That allowed her to take on her father-in-law's care with everything she had, and her book "Take Care: Practical Help for the Nonprofessional Caregiver" is based on this experience.

A black belt in tae kwon do and an artist on the side, Grissom owns two businesses with her husband in two different states and fills every day with purpose.
