Author, teacher, and speaker Mary Sharon Moore has been sparking the fire of love for Jesus in the hearts of many since the late 1990s. Her books include Anointed for a Purpose; Moving in God's Direction; Seven Last Words and Eight Words of Easter; and Touching the Reign of God. Her blog, "Noticing Things," and her numerous published articles bring Christian faith and daily life into rich and challenging conversation. Mary Sharon has a master's degree in theological studies from the Franciscan School of Theology, and is an active spiritual director to individuals throughout the United States. Mary Sharon believes that every baptized person is anointed for a purpose, for a unique work of love in this world. And she believes that the world is waiting for each of us, as church, to "wake up and get it right." Mary Sharon enjoys hiking and birding in her native western Oregon.
