About the Author:

John was born in Port Morien, Nova Scotia, Canada. When he was 20 years old, he left his home and joined Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, 3rd Battalion. While in the military, John married and, with his wife, had 3 children, Patrick, Krystal and Ester. Upon leaving the military, John went back to school and earned a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) and Master of Science degree in psychology from the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He had also completed his comprehensive examinations and stopped there, with only his dissertation remaining, because of divorce. John began writing poetry and lyrics when he was only 15 years old and, though there have been long spells where he’s written little or nothing, he continues to write to this day. Unfortunately, all copies of the great majority of his work prior to 2013 were stolen. He has been able, however, to resurrect much of his lost work through memory and original notes he had found among his stored possessions. Some written on the very napkins from the restaurants where the poems were conceived. John currently lives in British Columbia, Canada, and is the founder and CEO of ARDUS PUBLICATIONS.
