In February of 2014 while on vacation Linda had a major stroke leaving her paralyzed on the right side and unable to speak or write. Her husband Michael Russeau took it upon himself to submit it for publishing in her place. One year following the stroke she is still residing in a skilled nursing facility but with the help of her husband she is making progress toward recovery.
