Sequoia Gillyard is a freelance writer, playwright, poet, actress, blogger and speaker. She has performed her thought provoking poetry pieces in communities across South Carolina at local churches and community events. She has also written several skits and plays for various churches. This talented actress played the role of Sister Root in Donald Gray’s, hit play Saints on Trial. This prolific author’s creative short story Low Country Claw Monster was selected to be included in a future nutrition publication by a Winthrop University nutrition professor. Sequoia is currently co-writing a musical called The Road to Redemption. This astonishing writer writes from her soul to reach souls.
