Synopsis

Morpheus will never forget the pull he felt when he saw Brigh, a human girl, walking in the streets of Downtown Cumberland, Maryland. For the past year he has followed her around, unseen and unheard, in the hopes of understanding this new bond he feels between them. He's not a ghost-he's an Unfinished; a race of beings comprised of parts of human souls that exist in a dimension separate from humanity. Before Brigh, he hadn't minded the wait to become whole and born into the human world. But one night all rules are broken when Morpheus enters one of Brigh's dreams. Now he's in a race against time, as forces outside of his control try to tear them a part, or destroy them both. Forever.

About the Author:

Tory Cameron is a University of Maryland, College Park graduate with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Her poems, photographs, and short stories have been published in literary magazines and journals, as well as in The National Museum for Women in the Arts creative arts journal Urban Inkslingers. She's studied under authors such as Maxine Hong Kingston and Wanda Coleman in writing workshops, as well as having professionally edited over a dozen novels for published authors. She also co-created and co-starred in a short film for the Annapolis Film Festival; took three college courses at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England; and was given a creative writing award for Excellence in the Arts at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, she's a voracious reader, loves 60's-80's music, and loves comic books. After sweating it in Tucson, Arizona for nearly three years, she moved back to Maryland where the critters are less likely to eat her. She lives with her husband, a sassy Siamese rat, five rescued Hooded rats, and a rescued kitty. Tory loves hearing from readers!
