About the Author:
The author was born in Brighton, and, after 3 years at a small private school, attended the Brighton, Hove and Sussex Grammar School. He is married to Rita, to whom the book is dedicated, and has 3 children. He has lived and worked in Brighton all his life. He has a connection with Somerset and especially the area in the vicinity of Clevedon Court - the large fictional estate in Somerset is based on this house. His interest with both World Wars, the Hitler Youth Organisations and a visit to the small town of Grave in Holland, where the climax of this story takes place, has been a valuable asset in the creation of this novel.
