Poems by a Tea Drinking Great Grandmother written by Martha Swink Taylor who started writting poems at 86. The first poem Drinking Tea is a loose adaptation of a country song with a different beverage. Martha sent a copy of Drinking Tea to her two great granddaughters, Sydney and Taylor, who have been enjoying their great granny's poems. Still writing poems at 88, Great Grandmother Martha's poems span the full range of human experience and the human condition. Some poems are humorous, carefree, and fun while others focus on more serious matters of the heart specifically love and loss. Family and friends have been enjoying Great Grandmother Martha's poems for the last few years and encouraged her to gather them into a collection.
