"From Vice to Virtue," shows you how to convert verbal vices to prayer all within the context of embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nathan Lewis opens the back door into prayer for readers, who like him, have struggled to value and practice prayer as a means to improve and expand relationships with God and neighbor. Do you complain? What if you were to use the same skills and time you use in complaining to pray your complaints to God? Do you gossip? As a recovering gossip, Nathan shows you how to pray using the same desires and skills employed in gossiping. (The list of verbal vices converted to virtuous prayer goes on....) This book includes realistic exercises that anyone, who is prayer challenged can do towards a vibrant prayer practice. It includes a complete spiritual pharmacy of medications that will aid you in prayer. From Vice to Virtue is designed for you to use privately, or in a group desiring to grow in prayer.
