Billybones and Hornpike were a couple of pretty mean Pirates. So it was an easy task, stealing the fine gentleman’s treasure from under the floorboards in his study. But they got a bit more than they bargained for because the treasure belonged to none other than “Yardarm” Bailey, the fiercest Pirate that ever sailed the Seven Seas, and he wasn’t about to let anyone take away the treasure he had “...spent his whole life stealin’...” So, Captain Bailey set out to recover his treasure along with two not-so-helpful wanna be Pirates, Byron and Elwood. Or as they preferred to be called, Calico Jack and Blue Tooth. And along the way they meet a mysterious Olde Seafarer who wants to help Yardarm find a greater treasure. The narrator of this tale, one Peg-leg Pete, chronicles the adventures of this unlikely foursome as they trail the thieves to Tillie’s Boardin’ House, The Hangin’ Tree, and finally to Smuggler’s Cave. Yardarm has some frustrating times with his two helpers and some interesting conversations with the Olde Seafarer. There’s excitement, adventure, suspense and fun in this swashbucklin’ tale. And, while it has humor and exciting action, it also carries a message that Jesus Christ and His love are worth more than all the gold and jewels in Yardarm’s treasure, and they’re available to everyone. Even an “...old Pirate what’s done many a wrong...”
