About the Author:

James Luchte is an expatriate American philosopher, writer and poet based in the United Kingdom. His publications include Early Greek Thought: Before the Dawn, The Peacock and the Buffalo: The Poetry of Nietzsche (translator), Pythagoras and the Doctrine of Transmigration, Heidegger’s Early Philosophy: The Phenomenology of Ecstatic Temporality, Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra: Before Sunrise (editor), Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason, and a novel Of the Feral Children. He has also published numerous articles on various topics in Continental philosophy. His poetry has been published by various journals, such as Panic!
