About the Author:
I am the daughter of a surviving descendant in the Ocoee Massacre of 1920. Stories of my Dad's life was shared with the family. I was born and still reside in the town of Plymouth, FL. I graduated from Florida A & M University, Tallahassee, FL. I have two sons and is retired after 40 years with Orange County FL Government. I am very active in my church and the community.
