David J. Brown, JD, PhD, is a Philadelphia lawyer who prepared for ministry in his local church and then made the jump “from law to grace” in 1995, joining the church-planting team of Biblical Ministries Worldwide in Johannesburg, South Africa. Since then, David has served as a church-planter and pastor in three church-planting projects, and has started a ministry to AIDS orphans. David is also a professor of theology and ethics in South Africa and has served both as the mission’s Area Director for Europe and Area Director for Africa.
