About the Author

Ron Darling, a custom home architectural designer for over 30 years has unleasehed his talents onto the task of writing a series of novels. Born from an idea his son Chris gave him, the books revolve around the Washburn family. They have been protectors of this country since it's inception and their ancetors were the Kings of France. Ron grew up first in Southern Oregon then moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where he met his wife Nancy. They married in 1974 and have been inseperable ever since. Together they have 3 children, Chris is the middle child, he has an older brother Jeremy and a younger sister Angie. As of this post, Ron and Nancy have 3 grandchildren. God, Family, Country, job; that has always been the order of things in the Darling home. Patriotic and anxious to share their views Ron and Nancy have always gone the extra mile to spread the word of how valuable our constitution is and how hard it is to protect it. They rarely miss an opportunity to thank those who keep us free...our brave military men and women, past and current. In 1986 The couple and their then young children moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where they live today. As a luxury home designer Ron has been featured in 2 design books and a home he designed was one of the most popular homes in a 2002 home show near Phoenix. Writing is something that always interested Ron, but he never took the step of actiually starting something until inspired by his son's concept. That concept grew into what will be a series of 5 to 7 novels that Ron hopes to finish within 3 years.
