About the Author:
David Metzler began writing for a union newspaper in the mid 1970's. After winning awards in union publications, he moved on to free lance writing, selling articles to magazines such as Runner's World, Woman's Day, Reader's Digest and many more. It took nearly three decades before he opted to try his hand at a full length novel. Three Shady Ladies is the result. After a US Marine Staff Sergeant, an explosive expert with hundreds of (Individual Explosive Devices) IED's detonetions under his belt during two tours of duty in Iraq, saves the life of a very young Iraqi girl in a crowded market place, after she changes her mind about pushing the plunger that would set off two dozen sticks of dynamite strapped to her waist. While most of the middle eastern nations hail his deed as heroric, a few in the Pentagon and a small variety of politicos the action as 'aiding and abetting the enemy.' A price is placed on his head and the FBI and CID are called into action. When the handsome young marine takes a ten day leave in the big apple, the three shady ladies, all beautiful, up scale New York women aid the marine with evasive measures all around New York City and out on Cape Cod.
