About the Author:
Marci Izard is a yoga teacher at YogaOne Studios and a group fitness instructor at Next Level Fitness, both in Houston, Texas. When not teaching, Izard writes a food blog for the Houston Chronicle called Marci's Table and hosts Feel Good Food, a cooking segment on CW33. She has served as a broadcast news anchor or reporter in three states-Texas, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Izard has run three marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2013. Izard enjoys food, wine, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Houston, Texas.
