About the Author:

Roberto Gac Artigas (Santiago, Chile, 1941) was a medical doctor (psychiatrist) working for the Braden Copper Mining (El Teniente, chilean copper mine), before ending his medical practice in the Columbus Hospital ( Manhattan, N.Y., 1968) in order to devote himself completely to litterature. He studied in the Saint Joseph Institute of Temuco(La Salle Congregation) and in the O'Higgins Institute of Rancagua.(Marists Confregation) and he obtained a double Bachelor degree in Science and Letters (1958). He followed his studies of medicine in the Catholic University of Santiago and, at the same time, he studied philosophy, antrophology and criminology in the University of Chile. He completed his studies in France (La Sorbonne, Institut de Psychologie, Paris V) and in the Gurdjieff Institute of Paris. His litterary work -written in spanish and french- is aimed to the development of e new narrative genre beyond the conventional novel.
